At Guiding Eyes for the Blind, we change lives by connecting amazing people with extraordinary dogs. For individuals who are blind or with vision loss, a Guiding Eyes dog means freedom, confidence, and the opportunity to experience all of life’s adventures – big and small. But we can’t do it alone.
It can cost up to $50,000 annually to train and care for a guide dog throughout its working lifetime with a person who is blind. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we provide all services completely free of charge to people who are blind or with vision loss.
Thanks to the generous support of friends like you, we are able to provide our entire program, completely free of charge, to every student so we can continue to place our incredible canines with people who need them the most.
Guiding Eyes for the Blind is approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (C) (3) tax-exempt organization, and all donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
