Guide Dog Quarter

Guiding Eyes for the Blind takes great pride in our graduating guide dog teams! We celebrate the journey from puppy to guide dog, and the people involved along the way, yet respect the choice of handlers who may not wish to appear. We hope you will enjoy learning more about the following Guiding Eyes guide dog.

From the Puppy Raiser…

From the moment Quarter arrived, he was a loveable, energetic puppy. He was always eager to learn new skills and fearless when it came to new challenges. He especially loved playing and snuggling with our adopted Guiding Eyes dog, Louie, and all eight of our grandchildren. Quarter enjoyed sitting at the window and quietly observing the wildlife in our back yard. A favorite outing was to walk around the Woods Hole ferry terminal where he seemed to thrive with the hustle and bustle of people, dogs, cars, trucks, buses and ferry boats coming and going. Quarter brought unconditional love, laughter and joy to our home every single day. He will always have a special place in our heart and we look forward to seeing what his future holds. We wish him and his new handler the very best.  ~Doe Zottolli
